The regeneration specialist Vistry Partnerships has appointed Ian Hilliker as its new managing director for the North West of England.
Hilliker has over 30 years’ experience in the housing industry after he previously worked as North West regional director for Jones Homes and, before that, as technical director at Barratt Homes for 12 years.
As Vistry’s new regional managing director, Hilliker will join Vistry’s North West office based in Warrington.
Vistry’s divisional managing director for Central and North, James Warrington, said: “We are delighted that Ian has joined our dynamic team. We are standing on the brink of a huge opportunity for housing and development in the UK and Vistry Partnerships is perfectly placed to develop the partnerships, joint ventures, and deliver the schemes that will turn this into a reality for people in the North West.
“Ian’s appointment reflects our commitment to this vison, and we believe he can help us to continue to grow and evolve.”
Commenting on his appointment, Hilliker said that he was ‘really looking forward’ to the challenge ahead, despite the unusual timing of his appointment.
Hilliker said: “Vistry Partnerships has continuously shown the benefits of working with others to deliver bespoke communities, but our work is far from complete.
“There remains a significant demand for new homes across the region, so I’m keen to identify new sites across Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire to help drive forward with this exciting new chapter for the business.”
Hilliker’s arrival as a new regional director is Vistry Partnerships’ first senior hire in the North West since it was bought by Bovis Homes for £1.1 billion at the start of the year.
Vistry Partnerships was previously known as Galliford Try Partnerships and served as the housing and regeneration arm of the construction group Galliford Try.
