VISTRY Partnerships has gained the green light to build 70 new homes in a Lancashire village following a planning appeal.
The company, formerly Galliford Try Partnerships, is to build its Olive Farm scheme in Coupe Green. The properties, situated north of Methuen Drive, Hoghton, will consist of a mix of three- and four-bedroom homes.
A deal to acquire the site was struck this week, paving the way to deliver the homes for open market sale under the Linden Homes brand. The development will also include a mix of two- and three-bedroom homes for “affordable” rent and shared ownership.
A spokesperson at Vistry Partnerships North West, said: “We are delighted to have completed the purchase of the site and to have secured planning permission for these homes.
“The development will create high quality, family homes, with a good mix of sizes and tenures enabling local people to find the right home for them.”
Built as a variety of semi-detached and detached buildings, each property will have access to dedicated parking spaces and a private garden at the rear.
Following the purchase of the land, work is now expected to get underway on site in the coming months, with the new homes expected to be available in Winter 2020.
