A North West based property services company is increasing its presence nationwide with three new gas servicing contracts.
As well as the new contract wins, Liberty Group has successfully retained an existing contract in the West Midlands and the South West.
The new contract wins build on the company’s strong 20% growth in 2018, which it says was achieved through securing 27 contracts worth more than £70 million.
In the South West, Liberty will deliver a £5.8 million contract to service, maintain and install domestic heating systems across Exeter City Council’s 4,900 homes until 2023.
It has also secured a £2 million, four-year gas servicing and maintenance contract with Homes in Sedgemoor covering its 4,000 homes in Somerset.
In the West Midlands, Liberty has commenced gas service and repair contract with Black Country Housing Group worth £560,000 over the initial three-year term.
“We are really pleased to appoint Liberty to undertake this really important service for us,” said Adrian Eggington, deputy chief executive of Black Country Housing Group.
“The health and safety of our residents is of paramount importance to us and we are confident that Liberty will continue our positive track record in this area.”
Liberty has also been successful in a tender with Shropshire Towns & Rural Housing (STAR Housing). It was incumbent on the contract and will continue to service, repair and install a range of heating systems including gas, oil, LPG and solid fuel, in 3,600 of its home in a new contract worth up to £5 million.
“These new contract wins mark a hugely successful period of growth for Liberty, which is demonstrated in our position at the top spot of the gas servicing league table,” said Karen Sloan, managing director for gas maintenance at Liberty.
“We’re delighted to have retained the contract with STAR Housing and look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with them. Working together with clients to ensure excellence across health and safety, efficiency and customer care is at the heart of everything we do at Liberty.
“We believe it makes sense to think ahead and take action to prevent issues before they happen. We are delighted to have the opportunity to do this for new and existing clients to ensure that we deliver the highest standards for their tenants.”
