LIZ Haworth has been named as Halton Housing’s new group chief executive; she will take up the post in the summer, the organisation has announced.
Haworth is currently chief operations and transformation officer at Torus Group, where she is responsible for all its customer facing services and leads on its transformation and integration programme.
“I’m delighted that Liz will be joining us to lead our talented team to take the organisation forwards,” said Ingrid Fife, Halton Housing’s group board chair. “Liz brings a wealth of experience in service transformation, people leadership and performance management from her roles within the financial sector, local government and housing organisations.”
Haworth said: “I have loved my time working in housing at Helena and now Torus. I have had the opportunity to learn a huge amount and work with a great team to shape a modern housing organisation. I am delighted to be offered the opportunity to lead Halton Housing, an organisation and team I admire. It’s exciting to be part of its plans to evolve its business further to provide excellent modern customer service and a significant development programme.”
