STOCKPORT Homes has marked its 10th year taking part in the Best Companies programme by earning itself the highest rating for 2019.
The three-star accreditation recognises organisations that excel and reflect ‘extraordinary’ levels of workplace engagement.
This is the first time Stockport Homes has been awarded three stars, following increases against all eight factors used to measure engagement. In particular, ‘Giving Something Back’ and ‘Fair Deal’ were highlighted as areas of success for the organisation.
“To receive a three-star accreditation for the first time is a brilliant achievement that we are very proud of,” said Robin Burman, chair of the organisation’s board. “Ensuring that Stockport Homes employees are engaged, happy and motivated is very important to both their development and to help us make a difference to the lives of our customers.”
SHG will find out its place in the Sunday Times, Top 100 Best not for Profit Companies to work for in February 2019.
