PROCUREMENT organisation Fusion21 is launching its new national Construction Works & Improvements Framework in April.
Expected to be worth up £800 million over the ensuing four years, the framework is specifically designed to support housing providers and other public sector organisations to deliver capital works programmes.
Furthermore, it provides regional coverage and is set to engage with both local and national supply partners – including SMEs.
The framework offers a range of internal and external refurbishment and improvement works including regeneration programmes; modernisation and upgrade works.
Fusion21 said its members can commission all types of building construction works with the option to design and build residential and commercial structures – from new homes to extra care schemes and roof top developments.
“We are expanding our procurement portfolio as a response to member and market demand, creating a capital works solution that is commercially efficient, clear; transparent and delivers value for money,” said Peter Francis, Fusion21’s director or operations.
“Set for launch in April 2019, the framework will offer Fusion21 members streamlined price models, social value outcomes and flexible call-off process – including the option for early supplier engagement. In addition, Fusion21 members will be able to call off separate lots broken down by value bands.”
Organisations interested in applying to the framework have until 12noon on Monday, 29 January 2019 to submit their application.
Fusion21 said the criteria it is looking for are set out in the tender documentation available on the mytenders web portal. They can be found under Notice ID DEC156021.
