ALMO wins Stockport business award for ‘one team’ approach to CSR

A council-owned social landlord has scooped a prize for corporate social responsibility (CSR) at a local business awards.

Stockport Homes Group was presented with the prize at the Stockport Business Awards this month in an awards ceremony at the town hall.

The awards celebrate business excellence within the borough and showcase enterprises of every size, shape and description.

Robin Burman, chair of the board at Stockport Homes said, “We are delighted to be recognised for our commitment to not only delivering an excellent service, but to do so in in such a responsible way. CSR isn’t just a part of what we do, it is the essence of who we are. Our mission of ‘one team, transforming lives’ is about much more than being a landlord; it’s about helping to improve the lives of our customers and communities in every way that we can, and not only through our core services.”
