A Birmingham-based law firm that works with social housing providers is to open a second office in Manchester after enjoying a profitable year.
Anthony Collins Solicitors (ACS) saw profits up 32% to £5.3 million, with revenue up 17.4% to £19.5 million. The firm also scooped Law Firm of the Year accolade at the Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards.
Buoyed by this success, ACS has announced its intention to expand its Northern operations later this year.
“Our success so far has provided us with great foundations to build from, and we see this expansion into the North West as an important step in securing our position as the leading UK social purpose law firm,” said senior partner, Peter Hubbard (pictured).
“Having a second office will provide us with an opportunity to recruit more talented people who share our passion for change as we continue to grow, both financially and in terms of our social impact.”
